New England Patriots swap wide receivers again, as Josh Boyce lands on the I/R
The New England Patriots announced that rookie wide receiver Josh Boyce has been placed on season-ending injured reserve. Boyce injured his ankle in the fourth quarter of the team’s loss to the Dolphins on Dec. 15 and hasn’t played since.
To take his place on the roster, the team announced the signing of veteran receiver Austin Collie.
Collie has been back and forth on the roster for the past several weeks.
