It looks like a cold weather Super Bowl might be out of the question
Snow may no longer be part of the Super Bowl weather discussion, with only a slight chance of rain showers through mid afternoon Sunday. But temperature has become an increasingly interesting element — higher, not lower.
With all the angst — or potential delight — over the possibility of frigid, blizzard conditions for the game, the high for the day is now forecast to be in the mid-40s, meteorologists say.
This could eliminate the whole Peyton Manning below temperature talks, and put him right in his elements. We shall see how it turns out, but if it is nice out, I cannot go against Peyton and company.
