Five 2014 NFL Draft prospects that will be considered a “Steal”

I wrote an article earlier today posting five players that I thought would be “Busts” from the 2014 NFL Draft class. Well it would not be right unless I name my five biggest steals, so here you go.

Tajh Boyd – QB – Clemson – Tajh Boyd took his final year serious, and you could see that in his first game.  Boyd was thinner, was more mobile and looked like he had worked on his mechanics more.  Boyd had a great senior year, spreading the ball around to his two future NFL wide receivers.  Boyd has that “it” factor you want from a quarterback and could be a huge steal if he falls out of the 2nd round.

Ahmad Dixon – S – Baylor – Dixon is projected by many as a second round pick, but I don’t know how this guy is not a first rounder?  Dixon is a tenacious hitter, that loves competition. He lined up his bowl game on the best wide outs, and was a major factor.  Dixon reminds me a lot of T.J. Ward, and could ultimately become a replacement for him.

Storm Johnson – RB – UCF – I love me some Storm Johnson, not only does the kid have an awesome name for a running back, the kid is awesome.  Johnson was a former UM recruit that decided UCF was a better fit for him.  The last real running back to come from UCF was Kevin Smith.  That didn’t work out too well, but I have a different feeling about Storm.

Cody Hoffman – WR – BYU – Cody Hoffman could become the biggest steal in the drat. He reminds me a lot like Jordy Nelson.  Hoffman is a beast, that has great size and speed.  His hands could be the best in the draft, and the kid goes up to get the ball.  Hoffman is projected to be a late rounder, but if teams are seeing what I am he will have a great jump.

Gabe Jackson – OG – Mississippi State – Gabe Jackson is a big boy, that has great mobility.  Jackson has had every team come through already this season to speak with him, along with numerous GM’s.  Jackson is a big boy, that has a mean streak that is out of this world.  Gabe Jackson is projected as a 2nd to 3rd rounder, but I would not be surprised to see him go higher.
