Detroit Lions are now competing with the Vikings for Jay Gruden
Earlier this week I reported that the Minnesota Vikings were showing interest in Jay Gruden the offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals. Well today, the Detroit Lions are also jumping into the mix. Gruden after a loss to the Chargers will be open to interview for the teams as early as tonight.
Detroit’s coaching wish list also includes Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden, sources told ESPN. The Bengals host Whisenhunt and the Chargers on Sunday in the AFC wild-card round.
The Vikings would love to get their hands on Jay Gruden, but will also interview the Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. Both will be available for interviews as early as tonight.
