Tony Romo will not return this year; Good luck Kyle Orton
Today the Dallas Cowboys were optimistic that Tony Romo would be good to go after injurying his back in the first quarter of yesterday’s win against the Redkskins. Well Cowboys fans it looks like Romo’s season is over.
@AdamSchefter: Cowboys QB Tony Romo has been ruled out the rest of the season due to his back injury, per league source.
That means Kyle Orton will start next week against the Eagles. I would not be surprised to see Orton pull off a victory, but for Jason Garrett’s sake he better hope Orton wins, or his time in Dallas could be over.
