Steelers could lose their head coach to the University of Texas
Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh are possible candidates for Texas job despite the fact that it is not technically open yet, according to Chip Brown of Orangebloods.com.
According to Chip, there’s no question Texas is going to aim high. Brown has been told they’re going to aim for a coach that’s won a national championship or a Super Bowl. And Nick Saban’s at the top of the list. Urban Meyer would probably be second. He added that Mike Tomlin and Jim Harbaugh could be approached.
He was the first to announce that Mack Brown would step down. It will be interesting to see if Tomlin does leave Pittsburgh.
