Should the Broncos try to trade LB Von Miller next year?
Let’s be honest, we probably don’ t want to face the reality of this happening but Von Miller still has some trade value. I know it would not be the best time to trade the 2011 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, but the Broncos should dangle him out there.
The Broncos are playing at a high level right now, and Von Miller’s immaturity has brought this team several times this year. Maybe the team made the wrong decision by getting rid of Elvis Dumervil and they should have traded Miller?
Miller was placed on IR after tearing his right anterior cruciate ligament Sunday in Denver’s 37-13 win at Houston.
That ended a rough season that began with a six-game drug suspension and included just five sacks in 10 games. Miller has been arrested several times, and seems to be ruining his career, but should the Broncos try to trade him?
Shaun Phillips played better when Von Miller was not present, and let’s face it Phillips has been the most consistent pass rusher. I think the Broncos could honestly move on without him, and if they could get a decent draft pick, I am sure the front office would listen, just to get rid of the headache.
