Nnamdi Asomugha will sign a one day contract with the Oakland Raiders on Friday to retire
Nnamdi Asomugha, a first-round draft pick of the Oakland Raiders in 2003 who spent the first eight seasons of his NFL career in Oakland, will sign a ceremonial one-day contract with the Raiders on Friday and retire as a member of the organization, the team announced Thursday night.
Asomugha, 32, had 11 of his 15 career interceptions with the Raiders and finished his career with 80 passes defensed. He was a three-time Pro Bowl selection as well as a two-time All-Pro in Oakland.
