Mike Tomlin gives Eddie Lacy motivation saying Le’Veon Bell is better
At his Tuesday press conference, Tomlin said it was “an easy decision for me” to select Le’Veon Bell over fellow running back Lacy at No. 48 overall in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Tomlin did say that Lacy is “top-notch,” but explained that the Steelers loved Bell’s versatility as a three-down back with elite receiving skills.
Pittsburgh still has a fighting chance to make the playoffs, so it is probably not the brightest thing to say. Eddie Lacy broke a 1000 yards last week and will be looking to tear up the Steelers defense now.
