Chargers promote Antonio Cromartie’s little cousin Marcus to active roster
Today the San Diego Chargers promoted Antonio Cromartie’s cousin Marcus. The Chargers put cornerback Johnny Patrick (ankle) on injured reserve and promoted defensive back Marcus Cromartie to the active roster. Patrick had 38 tackles, 1 1/2 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble in 13 games.
He is a cousin of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie of the Denver Broncos, who was an All-American cornerback at Tennessee State University, and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals with the 16th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. He has two other cousins, Da’Mon Cromartie-Smith, who is a safety with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Antonio Cromartie the cornerback of the New York Jets formerly of the Chargers.
