Cowboys Sean Lee will miss 3-4 weeks with hamstring injury
If the Dallas Cowboys want to stay atop the NFC East, they will have to do so without linebacker Sean Lee for the next three or four weeks, per ESPN.com. Lee suffered a pulled left hamstring in the second quarter of Sunday’s 49-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Lee, who underwent an MRI on Monday, said after the game that he knew the injury was “not good.”
“I don’t want to miss any games,” Lee said Sunday. “I want to be out there as much as I can. But I try to do everything I can off the field to control it. It’s one of those deals where you have to find a way now to overcome it and come back. That’s the only thought: that I will be able to come back.”
This is a huge loss for the Cowboys, because when he came out the game the team went down in shambles. He is a very solid middle linebacker, that was in the top 3 for tackles. The Cowboys will miss his production.
