Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson is getting fed up of listening to people talk bad about his 9-2 team
The Kansas City Chiefs are on a two game losing streak, after losing Sunday to the San Diego Chargers. This week the Chiefs will face the Denver Broncos again, after losing to them two weeks ago in Mile High.
But after losing their last two, they don’t sound like a particularly confident bunch. The Chiefs at times sound as if they’re trying to talk themselves into believing that the season’s first nine games weren’t a dream but their reality.
“We’re 9-2,” linebacker Derrick Johnson felt it necessary to remind everyone earlier in the week. “We’re not 2-9.”
Derrick Johnson is going to have to step up and be a leader especially if the Chiefs are going to be without both Tamba Hali and Justin Houston.
