The NFL tackle leader is Kiko Alonso, a 2nd round draft pick #LegendOfKikoAlonso
As of right now, with tonight’s game still to be played, the NFL’s tackle leader was a second round draft pick. People were scared to draft Kiko Alonso because of his drinking problems at the University of Oregon. The Bills didn’t worry about the problem, and still made him their second round pick.
Last year, I had Kiko rated as my second best inside linebacker, above guys like Arthur Brown and Jon Bostic. Kiko has been very impressive and is en route to get the defensive Rookie of the Year award. The guy now has 66 tackles, 4 interceptions, a sack, a forced fumble, 6 pass break ups, and a fumble recovery. Alonso is exactly what the Buffalo Bills needed on defense. The Cuban Missle has become a legend in Buffalo already and will be a huge reason the Bills defense stays hungry.
