Texans LB Brian Cushing is lost for the year with a broken fibula and torn LCL
The poor Houston Texans continue to take huge loses. Today the first of maybe several bad stories has come out. Linebacker Brian Cushing is done for the year.
Test results confirmed Monday what Cushing had feared. Cushing told NFL Media’s Albert Breer that he has a broken fibula and torn LCL. Cushing will have surgery in the next few days, Breer reported. On Sunday, Cushing said his season might be over.
When Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing tore his ACL last season, the team’s defense fell apart. It looks like the Texans will have to deal with a similar obstacle this year.
