Ravens will attempt to trade Bryant McKinnie, could Dolphins be a partner?
The Ravens are looking to trade left tackle Bryant McKinnie now that they’re in the process of finalizing their trade for his replacement, Eugene Monroe, from the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to league sources. Bryant McKinnie is 34, and has his fair share of injuries. Today he participated in the Ravens’ walkthrough practice, but his status remains unresolved.
Whether the Ravens will be successful at trading McKinnie remains to be seen with a fluid market for offensive tackles following the trade for Monroe. If they’re unable to move McKinnie, the Ravens could just have him back up Monroe according to the Baltimore Sun.
I want to know what can the Ravens get for him? I mean I would give up a 6th or 7th rounder for him, but what teams could really use a tackle. One team that comes to mind is the Miami Dolphins. McKinnie played college ball at Miami and would probably welcome a return to the 305. The Dolphins have given up 18 sacks in 4 games, it is safe to say they could use help at the tackle position.
