Levi Brown is placed on I/R in Pittsburgh before he takes a snap
The Steelers have lost tackle Levi Brown for the season before he ever took a snap with his new team, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports. Brown, acquired in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals 10 days ago, was placed on injured reserve today along with tight end David Johnson, ending their seasons.
To fill the roster spots, the Steelers signed free agent tight end Richard Gordon, who spent two seasons with the Oakland Raiders, and promoted cornerback Isaiah Green from the practice squad.
Brown suffered a torn triceps tendon injury.
