Former HBCU standout Ricardo Lockette returns to Seahawks
Former Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette returned to the team on Tuesday, as he was signed to the practice squad.
Lockette, 23, played much of the 2011 season after Seattle signed him as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Fort Valley State in Fort Valley, Ga. Seahawks fans may best remember him for catching a clutch, 61-yard touchdown pass from QB Tarvaris Jackson on Jan. 1, 2012, to force overtime at Arizona, though the Cardinals won 20-23 on an overtime field goal.
