Dolphins rookie linebacker was fined 15,750 dollars for illegal hit
Miami Dolphins rookie linebacker Jelani Jenkins was fined $15,750 for his second-half hit on Buffalo Bills quarterback Thad Lewis, per ESPN.
Jenkins made contact with Lewis’ chest on the play. He led with the helmet which is why he was hit with such a big fine. The play resulted in a 15 yard penalty. Jelani was Miami’s fourth-round pick last April.
