Detroit Lions sign veteran wide receiver Kevin Ogletree
The Detroit Lions were hurting and needed a back up wide out after Nate Burelson went out with a broken arm. Today ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Lions will sign Kevin Ogletree.
Receiver Kevin Ogletree has gotten an unexpected upgrade to his 2013 season.
Cut on Tuesday by the 0-4 Buccaneers, the slot receiver has landed employment with the Detroit Lions. Per a league source, the 3-1 Lions will sign Ogletree on Wednesday.
Expect the Lions to use him early and often, he could be a huge upgrade at the wide out position. Stafford loves to throw the ball and Ogletree could be a great option.
