Chargers take another huge blow, OT Mike Harris out for season
The San Diego Chargers made a number of transactions today, signing guard-tackle Mike Remmers off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad while placing tackle Mike Harris on the Reserve-Injured list with an ankle injury.
This is another huge blow to the San Diego Chargers, so far the team has lost Danario Alexander, Dwight Freeney, and now Mike Harris. Harris injured his ankle during last Sunday’s game in Oakland. The second-year tackle started the last three games, including Week 3 at right tackle and Weeks 4-5 at left tackle.
Remmers was claimed off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad, he will need to fill some pretty big shoes. The 6-5, 303-pound Remmers originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos in May.
