Browns lose WR Travis Benjamin for the rest of the year; His replacement?
Browns coach Rob Chudzinski announced Monday that Travis Benjamin, the Browns’ punt returner, tore his ACL Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was seventh in the league in punt return average and caught five passes as a reserve receiver. The Browns need as much explosiveness as they can get, so this loss stings.
Making the news worse: Davone Bess will take over as the team’s primary punt returner. If you didn’t watch the game this week, I would ask you to please delete it from your collection. Davone Bess, will definitely not want to watch the film with his players. He was bad, first he fumbled a return, then he dropped a pass which hit him right in the hands. Bess is struggling bad right now, and needs a pick me up. Well Bess, good luck you are the new punt returner. I hope that does it Browns fans.
