Cole Pensick, a standout offensive lineman for the Nebraska Corn Huskers was killed in a fatal car accident on Saturday morning according to reports.

Nebraska Football released this statement mourning the loss of one of their alum.

On behalf of the Nebraska Football program, our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends & teammates of former Husker lineman, Cole Pensick, who passed away yesterday at the age of 32.

Pensick played in all 13 games in 2013 and started 12, including 11 at center and one at guard.

According to On3, Cole is the son of Dan Pensick, a three-year letterwinner at defensive tackle for Nebraska (1977-79)
