Who is your role model, and why?
My older brother because despite everything that has gone wrong in his life he’s still striving everyday and now he plays for Tulsa University Basketball
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Basketball, Track and Field
Did you play any other positions in football?
Offensive Guard
At your position, what separates you from others?
My athleticism, my pass blocking techniques and most importantly the amount of fun and love I have for the game!
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
When breaking down film, I look for completion of assignment, knowledge of surrounds (if the offensive lineman eyes peeked for the backside backer or not etc..) and finally athleticism (footwork etc..)
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Khalil Mack
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I would compare my style of play to Eric Fisher because I strongly believe I am very solid at protecting my quarterback while still being able to run block at a top level as well!
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
A few weeks before freshman year of college, my house burned down in the middle of the night and I debated staying home and not going to college but God had different plans for me. To overcome it, I just try not to think about it but I usually workout or sometimes I purposely think about it on gameday and I usually have some of the best games of my life.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Praying and Gospel Music
What is your biggest strength?
Knowledge of the game (which helps me pick up on schemes, new play books, plays etc)
What is your biggest weakness?
Not believing in my God given abilities at times
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
I would tell you that you took the first step toward being GREAT!
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
Favorite player: Brandon Jacobs Favorite team: NY Giants
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
President Barack Obama, Martin Luther King Jr., Jay Z
What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?
MY MOTHER SOMEWHERE TO LAY HER HEAD!
