My name is Tevin Drake
What is your Height/Weight?
My height and weight is 6’0 and 220
What is your position?
I play running back
Where do you play college football?
Transferred to Glenville State College from Western Michigan
Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
The coolest thing I did off the field was help clean up around the City of Glenville not only that but I read books with elementary students
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
The hardest class for me was Math
Where are you from?
Brooksville, Florida
Who is your role model, and why?
My role model would be my dad the reason being he showed me how to be a man and to provide for your family
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Coming up I played basketball, track, baseball, football
Played outside linebacker
At your position, what separates you from others?
What separates me from others in my position and my attitude on the field I have that mentality that I can’t be stopped and that I’m going to go till I can’t go no more
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
When breaking down film I look for how aggressive the defense is or is the defense a run stop defense and I look for how the defense reacts to certain situations and how they line up depending on the spot of the ball
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
The toughest player I would say would be Manti Te’o
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
The player I compare myself to in the NFL would be Eddie Lacy because of the aggressive running and being able to make a player miss and be able to break long runs
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
The biggest obstacle was having a daughter in college at a young age being so far away from my and being able to maintain being a father and student athlete. I overcame it by just handling my business and staying on top of things
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
The only rituals I do would be just visualizing what I’m going to do in the game and I always make sure I pray as well
As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?
Being at a small school I feel we just have to work harder to get noticed and just got to put in the extra work
What is your biggest strength?
My biggest strength would be my vision and how hard I run
What is your biggest weakness?
My weakness would be my speed just want to be faster
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
To sell myself I would say I’m a very hard working man I get the job finished don’t half do my job I’m a competitor love to compete and a team player and always giving 100% a leader on and off the field and always willing to learn how to improve my game I love to be coached
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
My favorite player growing up was Ladainian Tomlinson and my favorite team was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
The three people I would have dinner with would be my two Grandmothers my Grandma Drake and my Grandma Ellison and my little brother Tavis Drake
With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?
My first NFL paycheck I would buy my mom a nice house that she always be asking me about
