What is your name?

Terrious Triplett

What is your Height/Weight?

I am 6’1 – 200 pounds

What is your position?

I play CB and I also play Safety.

Where do you play college football?

I play football at University of Tennessee at Martin.

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I had a chance with my team to give back to the community and teach the young kids at the camp on our field the fundamentals of football and have fun with them and put a big smile on their face doing it.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

College algebra- not a math person

Where are you from?

Memphis TN

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my mom because she has always led me in the right direction and raised me to be the man I am today. If it wasn’t for God of course and her, I wouldn’t be blessed to play this game of football today.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played basketball in middle, AAU and high school basketball.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I played a little running back in middle and high school.

At your position, what separates you from others?

My athleticism, I am complete! I cover when it’s time to cover, I hit when it’s time to hit, and I love to play man press coverage. I like to be on the island ready to compete.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for my opponent weaknesses and I also see what he likes to do often, so I can take that away.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

I will say my teammate Rod Wright everyday at practice, I had to bring my A game.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I would compare myself to Darrelle Revis because I am physical, I can cover and I love to hold the best player on the field. That’s my mentality. I watch Darrelle Revis a lot. He inspired me to turn my game up to another level.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle was growing up without a Father, I had a lot of males in my life that have shared their guidance and knowledge to keep me going because life goes on no matter what, but playing this game of football helped me to be strong and get my mind off of it and it really turned me into a man. It motivated me to push myself, and knowing that having my Mom was enough because she did a great job with me.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I just listen to music and talk to God!

TerriousAs a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

I just have to adjust to the speed of the next level.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is my athleticism and ball skills. I can compete with anyone and I can go attack the ball when it’s in the air.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is bench press. Which is not a big factor to get fixed.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

You will not regret signing a player like me, I am determined to get the job done. I am a great leader on and off the field. I am willing to out work the next guy and compete with anyone. I will give my all on special teams and practice like I will play everyday.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite player was Michael Vick and my favorite team was the Titans.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My Grandmother, my Mother, and my uncle Tony!

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy I would buy

I will pay all my Mom’s bills off, and I will also pay off my student loans and move my Mom out the bad neighborhood that she is living in to a better community.
