Where do you play college football?

Misericordia University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have ever done to give back?

Work with a Diversity Summer Camp on campus to help young minority kids learn about and experience college for a week and give them the tools to apply and succeed not only in college but in life

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Biology Writing intensive

Where are you from?

Somerville New Jersey

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother because most of my life she had to be a single mother with five kids and had to learn to provide for herself and her kids while remaining mentally stable which is tough for a woman in our society

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball & Track and Field

Did you play any other positions in football?

Cornerback/ Kick Return & Punt Return

At your position, what separates you from others?

My footwork, the ability to separate from defenders is crucial & also my straight line speed to threaten CBs and effective run routes off of the vertical stem

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Frequency of coverages for every down & distances, the alignment of safeties and Corners presnap, the technique in coverage of each DB

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Jamauri Bogan

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Randall Cobb, his crisp route running and versatility to play inside outside and return ability and even being able to run the ball makes him a difficult player to contain

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My parents splitting up before I reached middle school really affected my mental state being such a young boy trying to understand life I struggled to grasp why my parents weren’t together. However I taught myself at a young age that my life was determined by the decisions I made I can never change the past but I can use my experiences to change my future.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I must have some sort of candy before the game and before anyone touches the field I must talk to each goal post so that we become familiar for when I see them later on in the game

juwanAs a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Division 3 players don’t get much exposure  and knowing that I did not have gaudy statistics to garner much attention I must show scouts and coaches that I am talented enough to make an impact at the next level

My intense mentality

What is your biggest weakness?

The feeling of inadequacy

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

My work ethic and determination is unmatched, I have fought my entire life against the odds to make my dreams of being in the NFL reality regardless of whether you give me the chance or not my journey does not stop I will not give up on a goal that I have set out for myself 12 years ago.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

TY Hilton & Indianapolis Colts

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Ray Lewis, Eric Thomas, Malcolm X

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

I would split the paycheck in half then give both of my parents each one half of the check for taking care of me for so many years.
