Accounting

South Miami, FL

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother because she never gave up and she taught me how to work hard for what I want

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Wrestling

Did you play any other positions in football?

Running back, Linebacker, and Rover

At your position, what separates you from others?

My combination of size, speed and strength. 

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Tendencies, how the opponent plays when their tired and offensive keys

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Lamar Miller and Austin Dodge

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

James Harrison because of our similar physical attributes, grittiness, football IQ and relentless pursuit of the ball.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The death of my mother was the biggest obstacle. I overcame it through prayer and surrounding myself with positive people.

sweDo you have any pre-game rituals?

Listen to music, eat gummy bears, take a lap around the field, and pray in the end zone

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

The obstacles I have to overcome is being from a small school and gaining exposure

What is your biggest strength?

Football IQ

What is your biggest weakness?

I tend to overthink at times

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

There is no other player on your team who is willing to give you 185% everyday as I’m the first person to check in and I won’t leave until I have put in the proper time to truly be the best I can be. As a player from a small school I had to really develop a proper work ethic to help push myself to the next level.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Miami Dolphins and Derrick Thomas

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My mom, Lawrence Taylor and Jack Johnson (boxer)

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

A major cookout for my entire community of South Miami
