Offensive Line 

Where do you play college football?

Lane College

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Playing football with the local kids from Jackson TN on my free time, setting examples and teaching younger kids how to be great Role Models. 

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Trigonometry

Where are you from?

Detroit, Michigan

Who is your role model, and why?

My Mom, because she’s the strongest person I know, and she never gives up because things get tough.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Baseball,Wrestling,Basketball, and Karate

Did you play any other positions in football?

DT, G, C, and T

D'MonAt your position, what separates you from others?

My aggressiveness, quickness off the ball, and finishing blocks.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

The best defensive lineman and linebacker on the field, the strategies the opposing team uses to utilize them. As well as opponents favorite moves blitz, stunts, shifts, ball get off, and hand and hat placement.  

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Gabb Mass

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Jahrri Evans, because of his motor, toughness, and his ability to finish opponents.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Seeing my bother sentenced to 25 years in prison was hard to stomach. I grasped a better understanding of my purpose and the man that God intends me to be. 

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Before kickoff I tell myself “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Playing football at a smaller school paves a road that has curves, detours, and heavy traffic. It’s not about how you start, but how you finish.

What is your biggest strength?

Aggressiveness, quickness, and finishing blocks.
