Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I feel that the coolest thing I do is go back to my high school and play and talk to the people that are younger than me. I feel like I am a prime example that you could make it if you put the work in. In high school I wasn’t the biggest and I wasn’t the fastest so it is important to tell the youth what they need to do to prepare for the next level.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Federal Taxes and Advanced Accounting were definitely two of my hardest classes I ever had to take.

Where are you from?

Johnstown, Pa.

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my mom, it has always been just me and my mom and I try to do everything I can possible to make her happy.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played basketball, baseball, and ran track

Did you play any other positions in football?

I played Safety, WR and returned punts and kicks.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I believe that I have great ball skills

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for WR tendencies such as what does he do great or what does he does bad. I look for their alignments and what routes that they run from where their alignment is. I also look at the personnel to see what their favorite plays are from that personnel.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Terell Smith. Our compete level in practice made us who we are today.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. I feel we are two long defensive backs with great ball skills.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle was when I was in high school. I had a lot of different offers from a lot of schools but they started going away because I didn’t get my SAT scores in time. I was lost and did not know what to do or how I was going to get in school. Saint Francis University is the only school that stuck by me and waited for me to get my SAT scores so for that I am blessed and most gracious.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

For my pre-game rituals I usually just listen to the same songs before every game. I also pray to god and ask him to forgive me for all my sins and ask him to bless my grandmother, my two friends that are now deceased, and my mother.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Going to a small school I get overlooked a lot by bigger schools. I feel I have to out work a lot of people to prove why I should make it. A lot of people had things handed to them on a silver platter, but I know what hard work is and I know I have to play with a chip on my shoulder to overcome being overlooked.

daquanWhat is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength would be I work too hard for what I got and refuse to let anyone take it away for me.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is that I go to a small school so I do not get the exposure that I need.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would tell the GM that I had to fight for everything I ever had in life so I know what it takes it get the job done. I never quit on anything. I play like I have something to prove every time I step on the field.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite player is Carmelo Anthony. My favorite NFL team would be the Eagles.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Tupac, Will Smith, Jay-Z

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

I would buy my mom a house.
