Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

My parents raised my brother and I, to always remain humble, always keep God first and never take anything for granted. I have a heart for charity so during the holidays we always try to give back to families in need, this past Christmas Day we fed the homeless at the Salvation Army it was an amazing experience.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Accounting 1 and 2?

Who is your role model, and why?

My role models would be my parents , because of what they have sacrificed in their lives in order for me and my brother to live our dreams and accomplish what we want in life is unmeasurable. and also what they do for others, they have always been that helping hand to our family , friends and our community.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yes basketball .

Did you play any other positions in football?

QB and RB

At your position, what separates you from others?

I feel my route running and speed being able to stretch the field is what separates me from others and of course my soft hands.

Chester Rogers 1When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I break down my opponents habits , strengths and weaknesses. I pay close attention to our opponents coverages they usually like to play to our style of offense.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Honestly the toughest player I faced would be my own former Teammate , Tyree Hollins who is currently playing in the CFL. We battled everyday for 3 years so when we would come to games it was that much easier , because I felt like I prepared against the best.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Victor Cruz and because of his route running , speed and play making ability.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle is when I broke both of my jaws going into my senior year at a 7 on 7 camp, and I had to be wired down for 2 months. I overcame that with the love and help of my family , and my faith in God knowing everything would work it self out.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Yes I listen to my favorite pre-game songs and I call my family and we pray over the phone before every game. My mom has to pray over me before every game.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

I feel as a small school player I have always tried to separate myself from the stereotypes in the FCS. Which is not being disciplined , lazy etc. Also having to work around not having the same resources as FBS programs.

What is your biggest strength?

Route running, my speed and my vision in order to create bigger plays after the catch.

What is your biggest weakness?

Knowing when to get down and not take unnecessary hits .

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

If you were to invest in me, you are going to get a proven winner , and player who will not be out worked . I will give you 100% effort , not only will I be a great player on the field I will be a great teammate in the locker room.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Mike Vick

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Eddie Robinson, Jerry Rice and My Great Grandmother ( Bertha Burruss )

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

It’s not what I would buy because I can never repay my parents for their love and sacrificed but I would definitely change their lives and give back to them some of what they’ve given me in my life.
