Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

During the off-season I go back and help with the high off season workouts and volunteers at the local YMCA.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Business Law

Montgomery, AL

Who is your role model, and why?

My Father. He has always been there for me and thought me how to be a man.

Baseball standout & Basketball

Linebacker & Receiver (High School)

At your position, what separates you from others?

My ability to make others around me better. My physical playing ability and Size.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Defensive sets to formations, blitzing tendencies, player personnel and best match-ups.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Jamie Collins everyday at practice (the man was freakishly athletic) had me prepared for any opponent in College football.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Cam Newton. Size, strength, arm strength, ability to run, toughness, will to win and we bring our own charismatic style to the game.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Having back to back major injuries that required missing over majority of each season. I decided that I wasn’t going to give up on the game I love without a fight and the only way I wasn’t going to live out my dreams is that all 32 teams tell me I can’t contribute to their organization.

ArsneiDo you have any pre-game rituals?

Talk to my daughter on the way to the facility.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Being told that the competition is weak. Can you do it at a higher level. I feel as though I have proven that I can play on any level.

What is your biggest strength?

Making the people around me better & physical ability.

What is your biggest weakness?

Can always be more knowledgeable of the game.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

“ I can sit here and give you the same speech every player will give you. You can see from the obstacles I’ve overcame when I could’ve easily given up that I’m determined to be the best. You can tell from my body and my ability that I put the work in the be great. If you invest in me you are accepting the fact that I will do everything to taking this organization to a higher level and making everyone around me from players, ticket managers and even janitors want to wake up happily every morning and be apart of this special thing we will have going.”

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Steve McNair & Brett Favre. No favorite team.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My grandfather, President Obama and Denzel Washington.

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

A house for my parents.
