Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I did an even called Walk a Mile in her shoes, I walked a mile in heels to show support for women who have been sexually assaulted.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

International politics

Where are you from?

Elizabeth, New Jersey

Who is your role model, and why?

My father, he gets up everyday and works as hard as anyone I know to make sure he provides for his family.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball

Did you play any other positions in football?

What separates me from others is my physicality and understanding of football. I’m always trying to manipulate the game to be in my favor.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I played many positions in high school, quarterback, running back, receiver, cornerback, and safety.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I’m mainly looking for tendencies, what the opponent is really good at and what he lacks. I want to know how I’m going to use my strengths against his weaknesses, so that he can’t use his strengths.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Blake Bortles my freshman year, he is a very smart and talent player.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I would compare myself to Malcom Butler. He is a tenacious player that plays physical and all the way through the whistle to contest every throw.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

My pre game ritual is to listen to pray and listen to “seen it all” Jeezy and Jay- Z. Makes me think about the visions I have of making plays on the field.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Proving that I can play this sport with the best of them. I have this chip on my shoulder to show that my work is just as good as anybody else in the country.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is my knowledge of the game. I know football. With that ability I’m easily coachable to be effective on the playing field at any position.

What is your biggest weakness?

My weakness is wanting to go for the big play all the time. I’m always thinking about making that impact play that can sometimes have me in the wrong position at the point of attack.

jihaadIf I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would say to the GM that I’m knowledgeable, coachable, and hungry. A formula for a player who wants success.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite player growing up was my father, watching his old films from Rutgers and high school, shows me where my derived from. Favorite team is the home team G-Men.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Prophet Muhammad, Jesus, and my Grandmother.

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

I would like to invest my first check and allow that money to work for me.
