University of Richmond

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

Only 3

How did you choose your school?

Looked for the best place for not only me but my brother as well

Where are you from?

Salem, Virginia

Who is your role model, and why?

My brother. He makes the most of every opportunity he is given.

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

Not as of this moment

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball

Did you play any other positions in football?

I played corner back in high school. 

At your position, what separates you from others?

My versatility with being able to align outside the numbers or play in the slot, as well as my ball skills.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Tendencies, whether it’s my tendencies and trying to switch something up or my opponents tendencies so that I can know what to look for and take advantage of when the time presents itself. 

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Can’t say. There’s been a lot of good ones for sure. Walk Aikens, Kendall James, Dontae Johnson are a few that come to mind. 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Brandon Marshall. He’s a guy with good ball skills who excels no matter where he lines up because of his route running abilities. 

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Separating my needs from my desires. Overcame it by going through everyday struggles with my family. 

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I like to play catch with my brother before the game. 

What is your biggest strength?

My football IQ

What is your biggest weakness?

Probably my blocking 

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m a student of the game who’s main goal is to be better than the player and person I was yesterday. 

 Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

Didn’t really have a favorite player but my team was and still are the Denver Broncos. 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My grandmother (mom’s mom), my mother, and my twin brother
