Defensive Back (Corner,Nickleback,Rover,Safety)

Where do you play college football?

Eastern Michigan University 

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

I didn’t have any real interest from teams due to grades, I was a non qualifier, which lead me to enroll at Grossmont community College 

How did you choose your school?

Eastern Michigan gave me the best opportunity to play early, I wanted to be apart of changing the program,and I wanted to play under coach Ron English.

Where are you from?

Toledo,Ohio

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my Mom she has been an influential part of my life just observing her work so hard to provide for the family and always staying positive even when things didn’t go as planned.

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

I have not met with any scouts as of yet but I have been training for the regional combine in March.

emuDid you play any other sports growing up?

Yes, I played basketball, baseball, and ran track

Did you play any other positions in football? 

Growing up I played linebacker in high school I played receiver until my junior year when I began playing cornerback

At your position, what separates you from others?

I am versatile and I work hard

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Formations,personnel, offensive linemen (high hat,low hat), wide receiver splits and I look for any tendencies they may have.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

I have played against a lot of good players I can’t choose one particular person.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Kenny Vaccaro, because he is versatile and aggressive. I try to model my game after his.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle had to be qualifying to play division 1 football, I just had to recognize the importance of school. In junior college I made the deans list 2 times and received my Associates degree. 

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I like to walk the field and listen to music 

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength has to be my versatility 

What is your biggest weakness?

I sometimes over think things

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am a versatile athlete I can play multiple positions in the defensive backfield, I am a competitor who will come in and work hard everyday to not only make myself better but the team.

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

Favorite player growing up was Ed Reed but my favorite team was the Philadelphia Eagles 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Martin Luther King Jr., LeBron James, Terrell Owens
