Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
Read to the local elementary kids, and went inline skating with them.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
Bio Chemistry
Where are you from?
From Columbus, GA but moved to Minneapolis, MN my junior year
Who is your role model, and why?
My older sister and brother
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Baseball is my first sport I ever played but I played that and basketball my whole life also. I ran track in high school too.
Did you play any other positions in football?
I played tight end in high school.
At your position, what separates you from others?
I believe what separates me from the rest is my speed, a lot of my plays come from me chasing people down. I also am relentless I never give up and have a rear motor!
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
I look for tendencies from the offensive line to see if they give away pass from run. But also to see which way the quarterback spins out of trouble!
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
University of Florida’s David Sharpe or WKU Forrest Lamp
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Khalil Mack, because he is great in a 2 point stance or 3 point stance and has great speed on the edge and is good against the run.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Losing my mom when I was 16 and having to move with my aunt and uncle in Minnesota, I overcame it by staying focus and trying to making them proud.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I take a knee in the end zone and pray and ask my mom, grandfather, and grandmother to watch over me.
What is your biggest strength?
My speed is great and my power against the run
What is your biggest weakness?
I think I just need to get a little stronger
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
I am the hardest person you’ll ever meet, I work hard on and off the field. I buy in 100% to whatever team I’m on and am a great leader. I have been through a lot of obstacles in my life like losing my mom when I was 16 and always get through the tough times and pick my self up.
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
Dallas Cowboys!
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
My mom, grandfather, and grandmother who all unfortunately all passed away
What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?
I would buy my brother and sister a car!
