Texans TE Khari Lee has been traded to the Bears for a 6th round pick
Khari Lee was an undrafted free agent out of Bowie State, and was a great player for us at the East/West Shrine Game, and that is what sparked the interest from the Chicago Bears.
Today the Chicago Bears traded a sixth round pick in 2017 for the small school tight end. Mark Berman of FOX 26 is reporting that the Texans have traded TE Khari Lee to the Bears for 2017 sixth-round pick.
Lee, 23, signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Bowie State a few days after this year’s NFL Draft, so to received a 6th round draft pick for a player that was free is a great transaction for the Texans.
