Seahawks punter is training for NBC’s American Ninja Warrior
Jon Ryan of the Seattle Seahawks is in very good shape but the punter will be put to the ultimate test. Ryan is appearing on the May 25 episode of NBC’s American Ninja Warrior, a show where you go through crazy obstacle courses and try to compete for the best time. 
The punter is competing for his charity, which raises money for cancer research, according to the Seattle Times. The show has a $500,000 grand prize.
If Ryan pulls it off, it will be huge for Punters everywhere.
“I was just a fan of the show and that’s why I wanted to do it,” Ryan told KING 5 News. “Then when I kind of got into it and trained a little bit, the competitive juices got going. I was training for American Ninja Warrior and I put a couple pictures up on my Twitter account and the next day, I randomly got drug tested. Thought that was pretty interesting, kind of funny.”
