Dallas Cowboys are hoping to get Dez Bryant locked up to a long term deal, but at this point they are ready and content to slap him with the Franchise Tag. The Cowboys are trying to lock Dez up long term, but it might not be possible. If anything they can always tag him and then can always sign him to a long term deal.
