Jets defensive standout Sheldon Richardson says he cannot wait to face Rex Ryan twice a year
Sheldon Richardson was full of things to say during the Pro Bowl, and one of them was at his former head coach who he was crying to defend after their week 12 blowout loss to Buffalo. Sheldon Richardson has since changed his way of thinking after Rex signed with Buffalo apparently. When asked about Rex taking the Bills coaching job, Richardson began laughing.
“That’s hilarious!” Richardson told the New York Post when asked about his reaction to Ryan being hired as the new coach of the Bills. “And to be able to face him two times a year? I can’t wait.”
It sounds funny to hear how quickly players turn their back on their coaches. The Jets will be fired up to face the Bills twice a year next year especially when you consider Richardson will be coached by former Bills defensive line coach Pepper Johnson who did not retain his position in Buffalo.
