Green Bay Packers signed WR Kevin Dorsey from practice squad; Add CB to P/S

kevin dorseThe Green Bay Packers have signed WR Kevin Dorsey to the active roster from the practice squad, signed CB Tay Glover-Wright to the practice squad and released TE Ryan Taylor. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

WR Kevin Dorsey has signed with the #Packers, according to the NFL transaction wire. Boykin battling groin injury.

Dorsey, a 6-foot-1, 207-pound second-year player out of the University of Maryland, was originally selected by Green Bay with the second of three seventh-round picks in the 2013 NFL Draft (No. 224 overall). He spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve due to a toe injury sustained during the preseason. Dorsey has spent the first five weeks of this season on Green Bay’s practice squad. He will wear No. 13 for the Packers.
