Tee Higgins Injury Update: How serious is his injury?
The Cincinnati Bengals may have escaped with a relatively favorable injury update on wide receiver Tee Higgins, but his status will be worth monitoring closely throughout the week.
Higgins suffered an adductor injury during Cincinnati’s 22-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
The injury occurred late in the fourth quarter after Higgins made a 19-yard sideline reception from Joe Burrow. Higgins got up slowly following the catch before going back down and receiving attention from the Bengals’ medical staff.
He briefly returned to the game and made another reception, but Cincinnati ultimately pulled him for the final drive.
Despite the injury, Higgins had one of the best games of his season, finishing with 11 receptions for 157 yards on 16 targets.
