What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Watching the players at my high school and my older brother playing. Seeing how much joy it brought him wanted me to join the game. 

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Being able to play with my brothers at Stratford High School. Not many people play the game of football let alone play with your brothers on the same field. 

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Do everything, I can to help the team win at the end of the day. Stats and accolades are irrelevant if we do not win. 

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

James Harrison. He was a player who continued to outwork everyone until he was successful. 

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad. He worked as hard as he could every single day for the benefit of our entire family and it inspires me to do the same. 

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

3-4 or a 4-3 because I excel at any outside linebacker scheme. Being able to play outside the box or on the line is something I have always excelled at. 

What should we know about Colby Taylor the person?

All that matters most to me is following Jesus Christ. He is the one who got me here and giving me these opportunities.

What stands out about your film the most?

My motor. I will run dudes down the field and chase relentlessly to help the team win. 

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Go to God and my family. These are my support systems and at the end of the day the Bible always has the answers. 

What would a team get in a player like you?

A high quality and character man who is willing to do anything to win and get it done on special teams. 

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Physicality and how it is the greatest team sport in the world.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Collin Shaw, he never complained and always did anything he could to win.
