Jared Goff, Aidan Hutchinson, Amon Ra St Brown, Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions host a Thanksgiving game annually and it is truly one of the best traditions in all of sports. This year Matt LaFleur, Jordan Love, Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers make the trip to Ford Field in what will be a huge NFC North showdown that has divisional and playoff implications.
With the Josh Jacobs injury and the Tucker Kraft injury, the Packers offense has been a shell of itself and what it’s ceiling was the first few weeks of the season when they looked like surefire Super Bowl contenders.
The Lions offense needs more explosive plays so Jameson Williams, David Montomery and Jahmyr Gibbs will be key players that look to play major roles in this game. Most likely the chances that one of these two teams wins the division will hinge on this matchup with the losers chances taking a huge blow.
