Detroit Lions ink a veteran offensive lineman today
One day after losing free agent Jason Fox to the Miami Dolphins, the Detroit Lions added some depth at offensive tackle by signing J.B. Shugarts, according to Pro Football Talk.
A three-year starter at right tackle for the Buckeyes, Shugarts is 6-foot-6 and weighed 308 pounds during his pro day in 2012. He’s appeared in eight preseason games, but no regular season contests as a professional.
