The Birmingham Stallions shut out the San Antonio Brahmas 25-0 on Sunday at The Dome at America’s Center to win the inaugural United Football League Championship Game. The Stallions become the first UFL Champion, and were able to three peat the Spring Football League Series as Champions.
The numbers for the telecast on Fox were pretty impressive as well.
According to Mike Mitchell, the Stallions and Brahmas averaged 1.596 million viewers and it peaked around 6:15 with 1,723,000 viewers.
These are very good numbers and a much bigger crowd than any regular season game.
In the end, the Stallions’ high-powered offense and an inspired performance from their defense led to a third straight championship for Birmingham. Skip Holtz’s team won the 2022 and 2023 USFL Championship prior to the merger of the XFL and USFL that created the United Football League.
Congrats to a successful UFL season.
