Former Alabama Football player arrested in undercover prostitution sting

Former Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Kendal Moorehead was arrested for soliciting prostitution in Tuscaloosa.

Former Carolina Panther defensive tackle Kindal Moorehead was arrested on Tuesday Night in an undercover prostitution sting in Tuscaloosa.

Many may remember Moorehead from his days at Alabama. Moorehead was a defensive lineman for the Crimson Tide who went on to play for several NFL teams and would eventually become a strength coach for the Tide.

He along with five others are charged with soliciting prostitution during the sting. Some face additional charges, including possession of a controlled substance, failure to affix a tax stamp, certain persons forbidden from possessing a firearm, and unlawful possession of marijuana. The suspects are facing a total of 11 charges.

Moorehead is facing one count of soliciting prostitution and $1,000 bond.
