Arizona High School football player Zyon Anderson is dead at the age of 16
Zyon Anderson had quite a bit of friends, he was pretty popular. He ran track and played football but he suffered from depression. The high school football player died by suicide this week, when his body was discovered in a park.
The Perry High School star athlete just did not know how much people loved him, and his Mother wishes he would have realized that before taking his own life.
A photo surfaced on the internet of Anderson posing, and you can see the cut marks on his arms. His Mother, Nailah Hendrickson stated to AZFamily.com, that her son had tried to commit suicide three times in the past. She said the family tried therapy, outpatient care and medication.
His mother sadly blames herself according to the article.
“I feel like a failure,” said Hendrickson. “It hurts, my heart hurts. I feel like I’m missing a piece of me.”
We need to pay close attention to our children. This is horrible, and I could not imagine what his family is going through.
