2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Jordan Davis, DT, University of Georgia

UGA nose tackle Jordan Davis is a monstrous man. He is going to be an intriguing prospect at the defensive tackle position.

Jordan Davis is a massive man. He stands at 6’5 and weighs 330 pounds. If you remember the old Jacksonville Jaguars defense John Henderson and Davis have similar stature.

Davis is a huge kid with some athleticism. In the run game, he is solid because he can shed a block and get after the ball carrier. He does not get pushed back very often.

Davis will likely be called upon by 3-4 teams in the NFL to play the nose. He is pretty similar to Jordan Phillips of the Cardinals. He can take up several gaps because of his size.

He does play kind of high for a big guy. If he can lower his pad level he will be a menace for offensive lineman.

Davis has played in 30 games in his career. He has 55 career tackles, six tackles for loss and 4 sacks.

He is a mammoth that is immovable. He is going to be a big time run stuffer at the next level.

NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes

If you are looking for a huge player to stuff the run, you cannot look past Georgia’s nose tackle Jordan Davis. I mean shoot you cannot love past him because he is huge. Davis has good athleticism for 330 pound kid. The Mecklenburg County native from Charlotte is a dog and with such a weak defensive tackle class, Davis is going to hear his name called earlier than later. – Damond Talbot, NFL Draft Diamonds Owner
