Dallas Cowboys defensive back arrested on drug charges

Markquese Bell, a defensive back for the Dallas Cowboys, was arrested Friday by Prosper police, according to Collin County jail records. He faces charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance and was still in custody as of Saturday morning.
The team declined to comment.
The controlled substance charge is classified as a felony, while the marijuana charge is a misdemeanor.
Bell, 27, entered the league as an undrafted free agent from Florida A&M University and has spent four seasons with Dallas.
Over his career, he has appeared in 48 games, primarily contributing on special teams, and has made 11 starts.
