What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
I’ll say it was my older brother, when I was six years old I was always playing outside running around. I was like one of the fastest kids so he signed me up. He asked my mom to sign me up and never since then I just started playing, and I fell in love with the game.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
I’ll say my first one, obviously scoring my first touchdown when I was six years old, because I used to be scared of getting tackled so I used to run fast and run away from everybody then after that, I’ll say winning the high school state championship, I won the national championship and winning the MAC championship.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
I’m a New England guy so I’ll say Tom Brady, just to learn from him, that work ethic and how like every day he’s being a professional like from what he’s eating, how he’s practicing, how he’s watching film, so I will be around him and just learn from him, and be under his wing.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
That’s kind of tough because I was at Michigan and we ran the ball a lot and I came out of Ohio. We spread it around. I’m a receiver, so I’ll say the spread offense throwing the ball around down field.
What stands out about your film the most?
My speed, you’re going to see someone fast running up and down the field, making plays and making tackles like honestly you can put me on offense, defense, or special team so wherever you need me, I’m there, so I’m versatile.
What should we know about Eamonn Dennis the person?
Somebody who has a great family background, a winner and someone who’s going to change the culture. I’m a team guy wherever you need me, wherever you want to put me, I’m going to do it for the team.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I will say the opportunity it has given me obviously being on full scholarship in college, and you know working out for the NFL. My biggest dream is getting into the next level so just like what the game could really do for you or could change for you at any moment. that one play could change your life forever. You learn a lot you got to keep going and keep fighting.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
He’s not underrated, but I will say one of my closest buddies at Michigan, Rod Moore, safety, his work ethic, always watching film learning from his mistakes, he just is always going. He had double injuries. He keeps going, still going, still playing right now, so just being around him seeing how he attacks the game every day.
What would a team get in a player like you?
Someone who’s going to be on all four special team’s units. Someone who honestly, you could put me anywhere. I just got to learn the position; you could put me anywhere so wherever the team needs me to be at I’m going to be there. I believe I could play anything on the football field.
